JANUARY 2023

We are exhibiting at the Affordable Art Fair Battersea - Stand C10

(8-12 March 2023)

Marie Jose is excited to participate in the Affordable Art Fair Battersea to introduce exceptional artists from Lebanon, her home country, and the Ivory Coast - all of whom were exhibited in the United Kingdom for the first time at Marie Jose Gallery. This carefully curated selection of artworks speak to each other in their rich colour palettes, dynamic atmospheres, and ability to tell stories. Come discover Souleymane Konate’s Bambara-inspired anthropomorphic creatures, step inside Charles Khoury’s magical animal kingdom, and let tidal waves of emotion that are Sara Chaar’s abstract compositions overcome you.

We are thrilled to announce our collaboration with our neighbour restaurant Launceston Place that’s now adorned with artwork carefully selected and curated by Marie Jose Honein. In celebration of International Women’s day and mothers’ day - both celebrated in March - all the featured artwork is from these wonderful women artists: Gwenyth Fugard, Hala Mouzannar and Sara Chaar.
